The sentiment on my card is from the Unity October 2010 Kit of the Month. I used some old Cosmo Cricket paper and Love My Tapes Fabric Sheets to die cut the trees. I cut the sentiment panel from my scalloped oval Nestabilities and underlined the sentiment with Recollections pearls.

My First Waltzingmouse Card

As soon as I discovered the Waltzingmouse site, I fell in love with so many of Claire's stamps! Coming from an Irish family with many relatives still in Ireland, the Irish Blessings set appealed to me immediately. I ordered them along with a few other sets and I finally got around to inking them up this past weekend.
I used Basic Grey Origins and my Nestabilities Labels 10 to create this card.

Hippity Hop with Fabric Tape

Hope it was a great weekend for you all! I went to the Scrapbook Expo in Somerset, NJ. It was like heaven! Scrapbooking and cardmaking supplies everywhere you turn! The guys from Love My Tapes had a booth there. I already LOVE their Washi Tape and adhesive and now they've added gorgeous new fabric tape to their store! See that pretty yellow gingham pleated ribbon on my card?! That is it! It's adhesive and so much fun to work with and they have it in all different colors and patterns! For my card, I used one of the sentiments from Delightful Little Things that can be found for sale HERE! and some more of that beautiful October Afternoon paper from the Ippity paper pack for the Spring release.

Saturday Night Challenge

The challenge this week was hosted by Shelia since Pat's daughter was in town and they were spending time together and did several classes at One Little Spark.

And since Shelia realized that January 28th was Pat's one year blog anniversary, she decided to change up the challenge from what she originally had planned. So this week the challenge was to make something that was inspired by Pat.

So, I did a card with my Nestabilities that I recently got from Pat's shop and also my Copics markers that I got after taking the Copics class that Pat's daughter Heather taught last weekend. In addition to the supplies I received, I just want to add that since Pat and Lee opened the shop, I have gotten back into card making, something that I haven't done much of in a long time but I truly enjoy!!! All of the adorable stamps they carry and samples in the shop have inspired me to create and it feels SO good :)

So here is my card, inspired by Pat! Happy Blog-iversary Pat!!! Hope you enjoyed the time you spent with Heather :)
