Feeling "Fall"y!!!

Welcome to H{ippity} Hop Monday! I had so much fun making this witch hat with Echo Park's Halloween collection and my {ippity} That's Spooky stamp set. I found this project on Pink Paislee's website last year and finally got around to making my own.

Sunday we went to a local country store that holds a Fall Festival every year! So much fun, I just love this time of year and want to enjoy every bit of it.

Have a great week!

For Fun

Just for fun I thought I'd share the first card I ever made using Unity stamps. Bought this KOM and I was instantly hooked!

listening: I'm A Believer, on the radio
eating: nothing, full from pizza at lunch
drinking: water
wearing: black pants, long sleeved Vera Wang shirt
feeling: trapped in my office at work
weather: perfect fall day
wanting: for this day to end
needing: tylenol for this wicked developing headache
thinking: about attanding Back to School night for the very 1st time tonight!
enjoying: a picture of my little man smiling at me
wondering: if I will ever have the opportunity to leave this job

H{ippity} Hop!

Hope you all had a great weekend! Spent the day with my husband and friends at a Phillies Game, it was so much fun and they WON! YAY!
My card today is made with Totally Happy and So This is Love, both in stock here and ready to ship!
The woodgrain DP is by Amuse and available for purchase at One Little Spark in Tuckerton, NJ. The little tag where I stamped my sentiment is a new Cuttlebug folder that cuts and embosses at the same time, so cool!
Thanks for stopping by today. Go to the ippity blog to find the full list of hop participants.
Have a great week!

Getting a Little Shabby!

Hey there, friends! I got down and dirty with my card today, ending up with something a little shabby inspired by the "Fresh Living" image on the Shabby Tea Room blog! Nice and messy with distress inks, glimmer mist, stickles and some liquid glue.

I started out with some Amuse off white cardstock and then distressed with Ranger tea dye distress ink. The background was distressed then ran through a Sizzix embossing folder that was sprayed with olive green glimmer mist first.

The doily stamp from Unity's KOM was stamped with Ranger Embossing ink and then I sprinkled it with Tattered Rose Distress Embossing powder and heat set it, then cut it out. I distressed it with tea dye distress ink, then stamped the sentiment from {ippity's} So This Is Love, in stock HERE and ready to ship!

The flower was a bit of experiment. I used the rolled flower die from MFT and cut some off white felt. I rolled the flower, then sprayed it with a few different colors of glimmer mist, then stickled on top of that. Topped it off with some pink glitter! I hand cut the leaves from the off white felt and sprayed with olive green glimmer mist.

Thanks for stopping by today! I enjoyed sharing my card with you :) You can find today's full list of "Friends with Flair" on the Unity blog!

Have a great weekend :) xx, nora anne

H{ippity} Hop Monday~Fall Challenge

I made two pages of my son's Pre-School Orientation for the Ippity Fall Challenge, IHHC40. The first page uses Dots for Sure and Bit of Burlap on the leaves. The second page uses the photo corners from Fall For You-all available for purchase HERE. (It was getting dark by the time I photographed the 2nd page, hence the "blah" photo!)
The DP I used is from Nikki Sivils Tree Love collection, along with a few Martha Stewart border punches and button embellies. Nothing too elaborate, but I am really trying to get back into scrapbooking to document these important days for my son.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Growing In Unity~Day 3~Unity Addicts Challenge

Hi Everyone! Happy Wednesday! I am having so much fun with Growing In Unity this week and today's post was EXTRA fun for me since Maria sent me a preview of the Unity Addicts Challenge to work with for my card!
And quite a challenge it was! She sent me a BINGO card full of different embellishments/techniques/colors and I had to pick a column to include on my card.

I chose Column I which was Bling, Rub-ons, Stickers, Ribbon, Brown.

The BLING is the holly berries.

The RUB-ONS are on the inside of the card.

The STICKER is the the white background with the green holly leaves which is a Creative Imaginations journaling sticker.

The RIBBON is obvious! The brown and cream striped ribbon from May Arts.

The BROWN is the ink and the ribbon.

My DP is from my 6x6 Basic Grey Jovial paper pad and I used stamps from {ippity's} Kissmas & Mistletoe and Seasons of Joy sets.

The pearl pick is from Caramelo's on Etsy. Great place to shop for vintage-inspired supplies!

Remember to leave a comment today and the rest of the week for your chance to win a prize from Unity!

Growing In Unity~Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of Growing In Unity! My card today is made with Basic Grey Pyrus DP. I just love this particular pattern, it reminds me of vintage wallpaper and the gold couch we had growing up that was covered in plastic and we were never allowed to sit on! Oh, the good 'ol days! Back then, that couch was the ugliest thing ever, and we used to tease my mom about it all the time, but it's funny that now I think it was really cool!
Anyway, very simple card here starting with PTI kraft cardstock, a layer of BG Pyrus and then some very pretty trims that I picked up in Orlando at the Scrappy Boutique. The lighter brown crocheted trim is by Prima, the flowers are by BoBunny and the darker brown is (I think) May Arts. Finished off with a Maya Road stick pin and some coordinating Recollections pearls. The sentiment is from my Unity August 2010 Kit of the Month, {all you need}. Love this one! So much fun :)

Thanks for stopping by today to see me for my second day of Growing In Unity! Be sure to leave a comment for your chance to win a prize at the end of the week! (and of course because they make my day!)

We are off to Pre-School orientation later this morning, so I'm sure I will be an emotional wreck today ;)

Enjoy YOUR day!

Growing In Unity-Day 1

Happy H{ippity} Hop Monday! So much going on, it's Labor Day and we are driving home from Florida. The trip started out Sunday morning so as you read this I am not sure where I will be! Since we stayed in a nice 2-bedroom condo in Orlando, I had some room to spread out one night and make a card to share with you today for my first day of "Growing In Unity".
What does that mean?! It means that I will be sharing a card or project every day this week using Unity/ippity stamps. Leave a comment on my blog each day for a chance to win a prize at the end of the week! Simple? right!
W hile in Orlando, I had the opportunity to sneak away for 2 hours one afternoon as my son was napping and visit the Scrappy Boutique. If you are in the Orlando area and get a chance to go there, you will NOT be disappointed! So many new CHA releases, my head was spinning! I really could have gone CRAZY, but since we were on a family Disney vacation, I had to contain myself! I did pick up some fun stuff though and I'm sure you will see some of it this week as I share my projects!
The card I have for you today is made with {ippity's} Summer Release set "You Deserve" (in stock and ready to ship over on my {ippity} sales blog!)
I started with a base of PTI kraft cardstock (first time using their cardstock and it's SUPER thick, great quality!) The next layer is from the 6x6 Basic Grey Pyrus paper pad that I picked up at the aforementioned Scrappy Boutique (aka scrappy Heaven!). I then took another sheet from the BG paper pad and stamped the flowers from "You Deserve" in Ranger Distress ink to make my own patterned paper. I stamped the houndstooth scalloped corners from the same set onto this paper and cut them out and popped them up for some dimension. I stamped the sentiment with Pumpkin dew drop chalk ink and backed it with the same DP and popped this up as well, underlining it with some pearls and there you have it! A quick and easy card that can be used for many different occasions!
Make sure to stop back each day this week for my Unity project as well as some tears as I send my baby off to pre-school *sob*! Where did the last four years go?!?!
Have a great week!
