My Motto!

Yes, I have a sweet tooth, and ice cream is my weakness!

I used the ice cream stamp from A Muse and made a little chocolate, vanilla and strawberry treat for this card. I cut the My Favorite Things open scallop border from PTI Vintage Cream cardstock to match the "vanilla" ice cream scoop and added a little strip of vintage pink cardstock.
Have a YUMMY day!

Guilty Pleasures in the Form of Television

I never used to be much of a television person, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed a night of Beverly Hills 90210 and Melrose Place in my younger days! Then I moved on in later years to Dawson's Creek, Grey's Anatomy, and The O.C.
However, lately my husband and I have been HOOKED on some Showtime Series, including Californication, Episodes and most recently, Shameless.

Two of our other favorites from FX and AMC are Rescue Me (which, sadly :( will be in it's last season this year)and Breaking Bad.

Mostly all shows with a "bad boy" character and some twisted humor or crude content, which is VERY different from my old favorites that I mentioned above! But for some reason, I can't get enough of them!
The season finales of Californication and Shameless were last week and Rescue Me and Breaking Bad have been on hiatus for awhile, so what's a girl to do but blog?!!
Have a happy Thursday!

Cataloging Gone Crazy!

Okay, so I started and now I can't STOP! I had seen other people before talking about cataloging their stamps and I hadn't really given it much thought until Noelle started talking about it on her blog. I don't usually like to take on such a big project unless I get feedback from someone who has done it. I was reading on Splitcoast Stampers and there were SO many people talking about it, that I actually started to feel overwhelmed (it doesn't take much!) But Noelle was kind enough to humor me and walk me through the process of how she did it! She even shared pictures! So, I took her cue and copied most of her categories, tweaked them a bit to fit my stash and now I am on a roll!
Here is my scratch paper with a rough list of categories:

Some stamp sets and "catalog pages"

My plan for now is to just store them in their packaging by manufacturer. I may eventually move them into the Thin Stuftainers that Noelle uses for her Ippity/Unity. But at least I will have my master binder so I know what I have and where to find it! I am off now to stamp some more images~it's addicting!

Have You Seen This?!

My friend Noelle sent me a lifetime supply of this awesome TWINE along with some other fun goodies for my birthday last month! What a happy surprise it was. I am ashamed to say I have been so behind on life lately that I haven't had the time to really give her a proper "thank you"! So tonight I sat down and got crafty with some of that twine and put together a little thank you card for her.  I had so much fun actually crafting, rather than organizing (boy, that project is getting old fast!). But I have to be honest and say it made my creating more enjoyable because I wasn't dealing with as much "searching" as I normally am! I also have Noelle to thank for part of that too, as she convinced me to organize some things by color and I took the plunge!  Luke helped me sort my buttons, brads and things like that this weekend and I am so happy I did!
Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of what I made tonight yet, but I can share a picture of this to die for twine, it's all the rage these days! LOL!
