Grammy

I made this layout of me and my Grammy from last May. She had fallen and was laid up in bed so I was staying at her house to keep an eye on her at night. Sadly, she went downhill from this point on and passed away 3 days before Christmas. She lived a good long life of 94 years and I was fortunate to have a very close relationship with her.

This layout is special to me because it represents the love that she showered me and my son with and reminds me of all of the good times I spent with her growing up.
The Unity sentiment fits perfectly with the way I feel about her!

Thanks for looking!!!!

Surf's Up

Just another 8.5 x 11 layout I made during my recent Scrappin' in the Woods weekend! We stayed at a hunting lodge off the beaten path, sleeping in a bunk room with 7 sets of bunk beds. It was so laid back and lots of fun!
This photo is one of Luke from 2 summers ago (I think)! I have to look up the date on my computer and add it to the page so I will remember in years to come. Since I can't remember already, that would be helpful down the road!
The paper is Rusted Sun, one of last year's summer lines by Fancy Pants. *Notice my washi tape in the upper left hand side! I can't seem to make anything these days without adding at least a little touch of washi!*
Thanks for looking!

love love love

This is my first layout from the Washi Workshop. I haven't done much for the workshop yet, but I am enjoying it nonetheless.

This is my Washi swatch that I made, also from the workshop. This is my growing collection of Washi tape :) Love!

Some Ippity

I broke out my favorite Ippity set, The Best along with the MAN, to make a father's day card for my brother from Luke.

and one for my Dad.

I was very short on time, being the procrastinator that I am, I waited until an hour before we were leaving to see them, so I used the same layout for both to keep it simple!

I think I still have time to link this up for Friends With Flair. Go check out all the Unity fans sharing their creations!

A Wonderful Day

I have been a fan of My Mind's Eye for as long as I've been scrapbooking. And they just keep getting better and better! I had so much fun making this layout of me and Luke at the St. Patrick's Day parade. Another 8.5x11 to change things up a bit. I'm sure I will go back to 12x12 at some point, I guess I am easily bored. That's why I love papercrafting, there are no rules!

Last Day of Kindergarten

Wow! Is my baby boy really going to be a 1st Grader?!?! I can't believe it, where did the time go?! We had fun putting together some gifts for a few of his teachers.

The gift included a beach towel, magazine, sunscreen, lip balm and some peach gummy candies.

Here is a picture of Luke and his Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Steele.

In addition to the last day of school, it was also his last T-ball game of the season.
GO IRON PIGS!!!!

We are starting the first day of Summer Break with some BEAUTIFUL weather :) Heading to Atlantic City tonight! Sleeping over and spending tomorrow on the boardwalk to celebrate Luke's 6th Birthday!!!!
Happy Summer!

A Layout, A Washi Addiction and a Peek at My Punch Storage

Here's a layout I made of my sweet niece on the beach with some fun Summer Soul papers from Fancy Pants. Along with a bit of washi tape, which is my current OBSESSION!!!
I am taking the Washi Workshop at Studio Calico and although I haven't finished any of the assignments yet, I am loving it! I am almost done with one of the assignments and will post it soon!

So, since I mentioned my "washi addiction" I thought I would share a few pictures of a part of my collection. It is growing on a regular basis due to this recent addiction *wink wink*!

I'm always looking for some new and different ways to organize my supplies. Another addiction I have is punches. As you know, they are not always easy to store. So here are a few of the different ways I store them.
This first picture is a shoe rack and a spice rack.

Next up, some organizer bars of some sort that I found at Target. They were in the college dorm section on clearance. Unfortunately they only had 3 left. Ikea is too far for me to go on a whim so I was happy to find these in lieu of the Ikea Bygel Rails. We need to get more anchors to hang the 3rd one.

Next is one of the drawers in my cubes dedicated to some of the slim EK Success punches.

I also have another wicker basket full of all kinds of different style punches. I forgot to take a picture of that. Oh well, it wouldn't be a very exciting picture anyway!
Thanks for coming by today!
