Don't you just LOVE this paper line from Jillibean Soup?! and have you heard the EXCITING news?! Unity and Jillibean Soup just released four amazing stamp sets that coordinate with this paper and they couldn't be any cuter!

My First Waltzingmouse Card

As soon as I discovered the Waltzingmouse site, I fell in love with so many of Claire's stamps! Coming from an Irish family with many relatives still in Ireland, the Irish Blessings set appealed to me immediately. I ordered them along with a few other sets and I finally got around to inking them up this past weekend.
I used Basic Grey Origins and my Nestabilities Labels 10 to create this card.

Warmest Ippity Wishes and a Challenge

I have a holiday card to share with you today using stamps from {ippity}'s Season of Joy set and Music of My Heart. This card is also being shared for Kelly's challenge ( HYCCT04) on SCS as part of the Hope You Can Cling To Challenges going on all month. Her challenge is Four by Four, use four layers of paper and four embellishments/additions to your card. I used ribbon, button, twine and stickles.

For some great deals on {ippity} past releases click HERE!
I'm keeping it short and sweet today, it was a long and exhausting weekend and I'm going to snuggle with Luke now before he goes to bed and get ready to start the week.
Happy Monday!

Today I have a mini book to share that still needs a few finishing touches and photos, of course!

The base of the mini book is a Sizzix die and the holly is die cut from Tim Holtz grungeboard paper, then sprayed with Smooch Spritz and stickled a bit with copper Stickles. I used Fancy Pants Tradition throughout my project, love this line!
Do you recognize this Christmas tree?! This is one of Unity's new Itty Bitty's, if you haven't checked these out yet, they are so cool! Great size stamp for a great price!

Another Unity stamp from one of my Kits of the Month (hmmm, can't remember which month it is!)
I made the flower from crepe paper and a Martha Stewart button punch, and finished off with some stickles and twine.

Some more crepe paper and Martha Stewart glitter, with a few Martha Stewart snowflakes punched and layered.

Fabric tape from Love My Tapes!

Another CUTE Itty Bitty by Unity! Gotta check em out at the new Unity website HERE! And if you didn't start out at the Unity blog, go -------->>> HERE to see a full list of Friends With Flair!
Happy Weekend!

October Daily

I feel so out of the loop since I missed Monday' s H{ippity} Hop. I am back today HOWEVER, I don't have as much to share as I had hoped.
Since we have so much going on this month, so many fun, fall-y, festive things, I decided it would be a good idea to do an October Daily (fall's version of Ali Edward's December Daily). I was inspired by Pat's post sharing the cover of hers. Unfortunately I didn't decide to do it until about ummmm, October 1st! So I am still working on the foundation. Hence, the reason I do not have too much to share!

My base is an 8x8 acrylic album. On the inside cover I used the spider from That's Creepy (2010 Summer Collection) and the journaling stamp from Love In Return, part of the {ippity} 2010 Winter Collection. On the last page I used Thoughts From The Past, from the last ippity release. (in stock and ready to ship, just in case you HAVE TO have this ;)
Check the ippity blog for a full list of hop participants and a whole lot of eye candy!

Fall = Love

I love the fall and I am making sure to enjoy each moment this season! It goes by so fast and I am really trying this year to take time to do the things that I enjoy and that we enjoy as a family. Yesterday, I was off work and Luke's school was closed for Columbus Day. We went pumpkin picking at Johnson's Farm with my sister and her son and my cousin and her kids met us there. It was a "little" hot for pumpkin picking but we still enjoyed every bit of it!

It was a great day at the farm despite the warm temperatures!

Then tonight after work, I popped a chicken pot pie from Johnson's farm into the oven.

As soon as that was settled and heating, Luke and I began on our Rolo pretzels! I learned of this delicious little snack last year from Pat and Heather. When I saw Heather mention them on Facebook the other day, I knew that Luke would love these~he LOVES making things in the kitchen~my little chef!

We had so much fun! Luke's favorite part was adding the sprinkles *smile*. I forgot to pick up pecans, so we improvised with some peanuts. It worked.

So, do you like my Corningware plate?! These are the plates we grew up eating our spaghetti and meatloaf from, they bring back such fond childhood memories. When my mom passed away, I knew I couldn't let these go, so they came home with me.

Thanks for stopping by today. No time for craftiness the past few days, but hopefully I will have a card or something to share with you later this week.

Friday Friends With Flair

I love these chairs from Unity's September Kit of the Month, When I Am With You. So many options for them. This is the first time I inked them up and decided to make a Halloween card, but I have so many different ideas for year round use of this stamp!

This next card is also using two stamps from the September KOM. I never use navy blue so this is something a little different for me. I decided to get a little trendy with the "frame" *LOL*
I wasn't crazy about the outcome at first but it's starting to grow on me!
Thanks for stopping by today.
If you didn't start from the beginning, go to the Unity blog to check out the rest of the FWF hop participants. You don't want to miss all of the eye candy!

A little birdie told me...

FRONT OF CARD (inside below)
Isn't this stamp set just INCREDIBLE?!!? I love Melody Ross and I am really loving her partnership with Unity! Speaking of incredible, I ordered this set from Paper Maniac last Friday and it was in my mailbox on Monday, WOW! That's what I call customer service ;)

I made this card for a co-worker who is struggling a bit with some things right now and not feeling so great about herself. Hopefully it will put a smile on her face for a bit!

(Inside of Card)
We are off to Jellystone Campground this weekend for a frightful weekend of hayrides, corn mazes, pumpkin carving and trick or treating! Can't wait.
Stop by the Unity blog to see today's full list of Friends with Flair.
See ya all on Monday for H{ippity} Hop. I have a card to share then using this stamp set!
