It Stinks

I love the pretty look of this "stinky" outhouse! This is a new digi image by Hambo that you can do so much with! I think I want to have a cute bear peeking out from behind the outhouse on my next try! :) How cute would that be?!?!

The sentiment is a rubber stamp from Hambo "It Stinks" #1220, I will edit later with a link to the stamps (it's not letting me do it right now).
I made this card for this week's Color Combination challenge over on Splitcoaststampers-CC329.
I don't know about you, but I am ALWAYS in need of a Belated Birthday card, life just moves too fast these days for me to keep up!
Hambo also has an adorable skunk image that goes with this sentiment :)
Happy "Hump Day"!!!! LOL! That always makes me laugh!

Hambo Hoedown

Check out the Hoedown today, where participants are being challenged to use twine, thread, string or fibers (no ribbon). I used embroidery floss on mine (a form of thread or string, I suppose!) The digi image this week is Pig Inmate, isn't he cute with his funny little birthday sentiment?!?!

Why don't you join in the Hambo Hoedown and you will receive next week's digi image for FREE! You can't beat that!

Pretty Princesses

I am sharing this layout over on Die Cut Diva today. I love this line by Crate Paper and since I have a boy, I have to use my nieces as subjects for this girly goodness :) The green and brown scallop circles are from Creative Cuts and More, and I think they add a lot with the scalloped edges without taking too much away from the pretty patterned paper.

The border across the bottom was made with the new lace tape from Love My Tapes. I LOVE this stuff and you get so much in the roll! The crepe is from Mon Ami Gabby and so much fun to work with too!
The Event ticket and the little pendants behind the doll are none other than The BEST from Ippity! My all time favorite stamp set that I am going to wear out soon :)

Monday Mojo with Hambo

My card today was made based on the Mojo Monday #195 sketch, I just changed things up a little bit to suit my needs! The lifeguard stand is by Hambo #3418 as well as the sentiment Life-Saver #3406. Have you checked out the Hoedown blog?! Lots of fun things going on, what are you waiting for?!?! Join the Hoedown challenge each week for your chance at a free weekly digi!

Oh, and here is my work space tonight for What's on Tap Tuesday #10 and What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday #106. I wanted to spend time with my husband on the couch so I brought my craftiness downstairs on a TV tray. I made the finished card above as well as a layout for this week's Creative Cuts & More DT project. I'll be sharing that on Thursday, so be sure and swing by to see what I did with the pink crepe paper you see sitting on my couch!

Luke Is Turning 5!

I have had this ferris wheel stamp for the longest time and I just love it, however I have never used it. I finally found the PERFECT occasion to ink it up! We are having Luke's birthday party at Fantasy Island, a nearby amusement park. As you drive down the island, you know it's approaching when you can see the top of the BIG ferris wheel!
When we decided to have his party there, I knew right away that I would use this stamp to make the invitations. I kept them pretty simple since I had to make multiples, I get very bored mass producing! I'm a one and done kind of girl!
I can't wait to celebrate my baby's 5th birthday and see the joy on his face as he enjoys the rides with all his friends and cousins!

Ippity Release Party Day #3!

I don't know about you, but I am having a BLAST seeing all the samples with the new Ippity releases!

Today on the Ippity blog, we are showcasing several stamp sets. The ones I used for the first card are The Man and The Best (of course! can't get enough of this set!)  I also made the first card with two challenges in mind. The Mojo Monday #194 sketch, and the Kraft Outlet's "It's A Guy Thing" challenge.
(Like my twine?! Get your's HERE!)

For my second card I used New Season, New Wonder and I paired it up with the Sweet cherry border from one of my past Unity Kit's of the Month. All of these stamps work SO WELL together! That's the beauty! I'll be submitting this card to the All Things Unity challenge, ATU32, From the Hearth~use your food inspired stamps, along with the Unity Tooty Fruity Challenge!

So, you don't have to deprive yourself of these awesome stamps one minute longer! Just click HERE and it will take you to Stamp HEAVEN! aka, my Ippity Blog! :)

The Best Is Seriously THE BEST!

I am having SO much fun with this stamp set! There are really so many different ways to use it! Click HERE to order yours today and enjoy FREE SHIPPING! And every order receives a pack of 12 - 6x6 patterned papers and coordinating ribbon!

I've been on a hand-stitching kick lately! I can't seem to make a card without stitching on it! I used my Sew Easy (available at Paper Wings), the original head to go around the card border and for the ribbon I just poked holes all around and stitched with WRMK embroidery floss. I used a circle punch, a scalloped circle punch and a circle nestability to create the ribbon, the "tails" are different stamps from THE BEST. The papers are all from Crate Paper. I used Glossy Accents to highlight the #1, it's still wet here so it looks a little cloudy! I'll have to take a new photo now that it is dry :)

Hop on over to the Ippity blog for more release party fun today!

Friends With Flair and the Shabby Tea Room

I submitted a card earlier this week to the Shabby Tea Room. I had so much fun with it that I made another one!  I guess I've been on a shabby chic kick lately. And tonight I decided to do some embossing on my card. I used the "My Heart Sings" stamp from the Unity May 2011 KOM with some Girls Paperie. The gingham paper for the card base is Amuse and I finished it off with some hand dyed seam binding, embroidery floss and a trinket pin that I made. (I hope it's not too far of a stretch to call the letter pebbles "buttons" to qualify for this challenge!)

Before you go~only a few more days until the June release from Ippity! All 5 kits have been revealed and you can pre-order now HERE! Shipping is included in all kit prices and you will also receive 12 6x6 papers with coordinating ribbon.

What's On Tap Tuesday?!?!

Better late than never, I always say! This week sorta flew by me. It took until Wednesday to recover from the weekend. With the beautitful sunny weather, we were barely at home, so laundry piled up, etc. and there was not much crafting going on. I tried this week to do a bit of this and a bit of that. All I seemed to accomplish was creating a mess and starting 5 different projects! I did finish one though, a card for tomorrow's Friends With Flair. I'll be posting that later, but in the meantime, here is my desk at the current moment. I need to clean it up before getting crafty this weekend!

And be sure to check out Cindy's blog for the rest of the What's On Tap Tuesday participants!

Oink Oink!

I couldn't resist that! So I mentioned last week, I had a secret. Today is the day I am able to reveal it :)

For the next 4 months I will be a proud member of the Hambo Stamps Design Team "aka" a Bacon Bit! Isn't that the cutest name for the Design Team members?!?! If you are familiar with Hambo Stamps you already know they have a lot of cute "piggie" images as well as an array of punny, humorous stamps. They are so much fun to work with and I was lucky to be pigged picked to be on their Rubber Team, so I will be designing with stamps from their rubber collection through September 2011. Be sure to check out the Hambo blog, Talk to the Ham, today for the rest of the new Bacon Bits, rubber and digi team!!!!
I am so excited and would love to share my first card with you using 2 new digi images, Orange and Yam Kids - digi. Aren't they cute?! and they are available now in the digi shop!

Be sure to stop back often to check out my Hambo projects!
