Wow!

I can't believe it's been a month since my last post. Life is flying by!
I've been getting crafty a bit but not making much time to share I guess.
Our tree is up, the house is decorated, Christmas cards are done. Still lots of shopping to tackle!
Starting new traditions with my son. Making memories that I hope will stay with him into adulthood.
New things we've started this year:
Elf on The Shelf
Karen Foster Advent Calendar Box
We are also doing a Christmas Book Countdown in addition to the Advent Box, an idea I read on Ali Edward's blog.
I really just want to make the most of the Christmas Season with Luke and have these fun traditions that he can look forward to from year to year.
I'm also doing a December Daily this year, which has been fun, but of course I am behind. Hope to share some of those photos soon.
I've been following Tim Holtz's 12 Tags of Christmas, and although I didn't really use any of the techniques he's gone over, this tag is certainly inspired by his posts in the past week.
The tag is from Creative Cuts and More, check out the website for all your diecut needs!

H{ippity} Hop

I broke out my Tim Holtz die and embossing folder for this card. The fabric sheets from Love My Tapes die cut so well with my Big Shot. The sentiment is from Ippity's Regal Greetings set. I decided on a whim to use the "Missing You" sentiment and didn't realize until it was all put together that the word GONE stood out so clearly in the text on the bird's body. No, I did not plan that~sometimes things just work out right!
Visit the Ippity blog for a full list of participants today or click here to visit JenMarie, I'm sure she has an awesome project to share with you today!
