Scrapbook Cafe's Saturday Night Challenge

The challenge this week was to make a card using a store bought card that someone else gave to you as your inspiration. The card I chose was one that I received from my friend at my bridal shower:

And this is the card that I came up with. I cut a piece of Bazzill cardstock into a 4 x 12 strip. I scored it to make a tri-fold and cut a square window with my trimmer. I stamped the birds, the clouds, the grass and the flower and made the sun out of Pink Paislee decorative edge paper from the Office Lingo Line. The background paper is also from this line. After cutting out and chalking my stamped images, I adhered them to the background paper and slipped it into a cellophane envelope. I filled the envelope with glitter and clear confetti hearts and adhered it to the backside of the window opening of the card. One flap of the tri-fold card folds over the cellophane to "hide" the back and secure it all.

Thanks for the challenge Shelia, I had fun with it!!!!

This is really a wonderful card. I like it better then the one you used as the inspiration. But it was also a very cute card. Thank you for playing, I was so afraid no one would play, since they didn't know me.
