Have a Festive Fall

Hey There! I'm back! Disney and the first day of Kindergarten are behind us and it's time to welcome in Fall soon! Love this time of year and I love this little Scarecrow Pig by Hambo!!!! and the sentiment is Festive Fall by Hambo and how CUTE it is!!!  and the FALL portion is so fun for paper piecing!

Fruity Friends With Flair

I haven't had a chance to play along with Friends with Flair in ages, it seems! I made 3 cards with the Unity Vintage Fruit stamps for a class at Paper Wings, so I thought I would share one here today.
Lesley Langdon did a video on Unity TV awhile back with these stamps and I followed her tutorial, somewhat, but used Twinkling H2O's in place of the Distress Stains. It's hard to see in the picture here, but the background panel has a nice subtle shimmer to it.

Well, that's all for now, I've got to finish packing, it appears we may be evacuated due to Hurricane Irene! We are supposed to leave for Disney Saturday, so it looks like we will be starting our trip a little early. Wish us luck getting to Florida ~ yikes!

5 Year Old Humor

Please don't judge when you see my card! Remember people, I live with a 33 year old boy man and a 5 year old boy. After awhile, if you can't beat 'em, you have to join 'em! Yes, I have to admit, sometimes in my house the humor is quite juvenile and of an icky nature!
So when I saw the Ham On The Run image that was just released by Hambo, this card came to mind! I'm sure some of you out there are shaking your head at me and possibly a little eye rolling! But, in my defense, this would make a very funny masculine card that is sure to bring a chuckle!

That's How I Roll.....

Have you seen the ADORABLE new release stamps over at Hambo?!?! When I saw this Roller Bunny I literally squealed out loud! Isn't he SO so CUTE???!!!

I also love this sentiment that goes with it "How I Roll", or you can choose to say "Just a Hare Late....in wishing you a special day!" to make a belated birthday card!

Cheese Louise

Is it really August 23rd already???? Where has the summer gone?! We are leaving for Florida on Saturday for a week's vacation, then when we come back my son will be starting Kindergarten! Forget about where did the summer go, where did the last 5 years go?!?!  I am getting the tissues prepared for his first day!

On another note, I just love this little Hambo mouse, don't you?!? He's so fun to color and cut out, I had loads of fun making this little ATC.
I punched circles in different sizes from the yellow Basic Grey DP to look like swiss cheese and the little banner is cut from a Pink Paislee embellishment.

4 Years In Heaven

I love and miss you every day Mommy!

My Mother seems so far away from me,

On that beautiful white shore across the sea.

Yet I remember love’s soft glow upon her face,

And the feel of her touch and tender embrace.

When I am weary from the burdens I’ve borne,

And the path is unclear and I feel so forlorn,

I remember her loving support was always near,

I remember how she always stood by my side,

What's on Tap Tuesday

If you've been over to Cindy's blog today for What's on Tap Tuesday, then you will know that she had a "twist" to her post today, she took her WOTT "on the road"!
Well, my post has a certain twist to it today too. First of all, I don't have a project to share (i know, boo!), but I am so excited to be leaving work later and driving with my sister to Philly for On The Road with Amuse Studio! We signed up at the last minute last night because we weren't sure we would have babysitter's. My lovely husband has so willingly agreed to take Dominick for the evening to hang out with Luke, so we can get our craft on in Philly! So that is what I have "on tap" for this Tuesday!
Yay! I can't wait. I will share projects later in the week!
