Day 3 ~ Growing In Unity

My card today is made with another Ippity new release and some fussy cutting. I am just having too much fun with these stamps! Make sure to leave a comment again today for your chance to win a prize from Unity at the end of the week! In addition to being the Growing In Unity gal this week, I am also the Unity Addict Challenge Guest, and I am challenging you to make a card using the "fussy cutting" technique. This originated as a quilting term, but is now also popular in papercrafting and basically means to cut out a design from paper to add dimension. So stop by the Unity Challenge forum on Splitcoast Stampers for another way to win a prize from Unity!

Supplies:
Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 Mini Deck
May Arts Ribbon
Ippity Sing a New Song
Ranger Distress Ink

Recollections Pearls
Spellbinders Labels 10
Bazzill Cardstock

OK, I seriosuly adore that stamp and the way you have cut the paper to work with pattern - it takes quite an eye to notice these things and go with them...wish I had that eye, lol It's only when I see it on someone else's cards when I go "Oh, right!!" :)

Fussy cutting is my life! Guess I should try to get in on this challenge....but onto your card.....love it....I noticed that you didn't just stamp the bird, I think you snuck some background stamping in there....burlap? The patterned paper cut out....just so cool all around! Congrats on the Unity guesting *smile*
