Growing In Unity~Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of Growing In Unity! Today I thought I would share a card made with the new Ippity release set, Cuppy Cakes. I paper pieced the cupcake wrapper with some Martha Stewart designer paper and used my Spellbinders Ovals and Scalloped Ovals to cut the same paper for the background of the cupcake. The rest of the cupcake was colored with copics. The sentiment stamp is from Party Hat Wishes, another new Ippity release.
Both sets are available for purchase on my Ippity blog and orders over $50.00 will receive a FREE Straight From the Heart Set (along with FREE shipping and the usual goodies included with all orders!)

Thanks for visiting today! Make sure to leave a comment today and the rest of the week for your chance to win some goodies from Unity!

Gobble Gobble

I hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving! Ours was great and I even got some great Black Friday deals too! The card I'm sharing today was made with a stamp from my Unity KOM and Sizzix/Basic Grey embossing folder. I distressed the cardstock with Ranger Distress Ink a bit after embossing. The image was stamped with a blue chalk ink and I also used the same ink to change the color of the ribbon (it was originally yellow).

Luke and I made these turkeys for his pre-school class, so I thought I would share these as well!

Thanks for stopping by today, I'm going to keep it brief. It's 1:30 am and I just got back from my midnight shopping spree. Tired and stuffed from all the Thanksgiving goodies!

Waltzingmouse Blog Challenge-WMSC24

Have you seen this week's Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge #24?
I had so much fun with it, that I made 2 cards, instead of 1. I really love these vintage images and how they fit with my Spellbinder dies. I love the clean look you get when you have a die that matches the stamped image. Anyway, thanks for taking a peek at my cards! Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

How YOU Doin?

I cut this cute window frame card out on my cricut, then stamped the overlying frame with Gurnsey Gingham using Ranger Rusty Hinge Distress Ink. The cute sheer ruffly ribbon is actually from a jewelry making kit that I got on clearance at Michaels', so it's supposed to be part of a necklace. I covered that with a row of Amuse twinkles in green. The sentiment panel was cut from a Nestabilities label die and then stamped with the word "enjoy" from the new release set "How YOU Doin" *hence my title*.
Have a Happy Monday!

Snowman Thinking of You

I picked up this cute Great Impressions snowman stamp last week while visiting Pat and Lee at One Little Spark. I thought he was just so adorable and couldn't wait to get him inky.
I paper pieced his hat with one of the patterns from my Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 6x6 mini deck and colored the pine on his twigs with a green Copic marker (also from One Little Spark). I added some silver Martha Stewart glitter, I liked the look of silver with this card rather than a clear or white glitter for some reason.
I cut him out with an oval nestability and then a scalloped oval in black bazzill to frame him. The cute black scalloped border is from My Favorite Things, I am really loving their Die-namics, have a long wishlist there-haha! The scrappy wishlist never has an end, does it?!
For my triple loop bow, I followed THIS tutorial that I stumbled upon on SCS and finished it off with some punched snowflakes and a pretty pearl brad by Recollections.

This is one of my favorite cards in a long time, this Cosmo paper is going to get A LOT of use from me, just LOVE it!

Oh, and how can I forget, the "thinking of you" sentiment is from the new Ippity release set "How YOU Doin". Click HERE if you'd like to check it out along with all the other adorable new releases!

Happy Sunday! xx, nora anne
