December Daily Sharing

I am not totally caught up but closer than I've ever been! I am loving this project and keeping it super simple to keep from getting overwhelmed.
I'm using a lot of Simple Stories Cozy Christmas in my album, some Webster's Pages All That Glitters, and lots of other bits and pieces (new and old) that I've collected.

I don't know how to use my sewing machine *sigh* so I handstitched the top of the 2x2 page to keep the confetti mix in.

The Eat. Drink. Be Merry. page is one of my FAVORITES! I lifted this from Geralyn Sy, she is GENIUS in her creativity! Although, I do believe she mentioned she lifted this page from someone else, I always LOVE her designs and drool over her work.

As you can see, I am definitely keeping it simple, trying to get down some stories and memories while they are fresh in my head. This year will be the first December Daily that I complete. I started 3 other times and have 2012's album "almost" complete. 2013 still needs a lot of work and 2011 didn't even make it past day 1 and I probably won't go back to it at this point! But, this year THIS YEAR is THE YEAR of the completed December Daily! I'm really happy with my progress so far and there ain't no stopping me now!

Thanks for looking! I love reading your comments, if you have any questions on product, don't hesitate to ask! Happy December!

Sunday Picnic and a Broken Heart

Hi there,
I made a layout of Luke flying his Batman kite, who says you can't make boy layouts flowery?! I love this Sunday Picnic line by Websters Pages. If you are in New Jersey, you can get the full line of paper at Paper Wings.

I am going to get very personal and serious now, if you choose to move on, now is your chance.
Recently I shared some Project Life pages and the news that we were expecting. Yesterday I had an ultrasound and was devastated to learn there was no longer a heartbeat and my baby stopped growing. After my last appointment my doctor thought I was "out of the woods" so we started sharing our happy news with everyone.
This is my third pregnancy loss and this one seems to be hitting me the hardest. Maybe because deep down I know I can't bear to go through this again, so the hope of a sweet little baby to hold in my arms, love, smell, and snuggle has been lost.
For the past 6 weeks since I found out, I have dreamed of kissing little fingers and toes, nursing my baby and spending hours watching him/her sleep. My sweet little Luke has been overjoyed with the prospect of a brother or sister and his little heart was broken when we explained to him that our baby went to Heaven. (I found this book to read to him, it had good reviews for children his age.)
For those of you blessed with healthy babies, remember how precious every moment is with them and for those of you that share a similar experience, I grieve along with you and the loss of your angel babies.

"An Angel in the book of life wrote down our babies birth, and whispered as she closed the book....."Too beautiful for earth." -Author Unknown

What's On Tap Tuesday

My plan for this week's What's On Tap Tuesday was to show you this before photo (which you may or may not have seen already!) and then the much neater more organized "after" shot. However, I've been busy putting together some cards for 2 upcoming classes at Paper Wings, so before I had a chance to take the "after" shot, I went and messed it all up again! I'm incurable in my mess :(

Here's one of the 7 cards we'll be making at Paper Wings on October 9th. Sometimes the mess is worth it! *wink*
Why not show us YOUR space?!?! Link up over at Cindy's blog and show us what you have on Tap for this Tuesday!

Stamp: Unity Trendsetters Background
Paper: Neenah
Ink: Unity Hybrid
Other: Charm from Michael's, Ribbon from the Dollar Store!!!

Happy H{ippity} Hop!

I am just loving all of the fun images that the {ippity} designers have come up with! Here are two cards I made using two of the new Winter release sets.
The first card used Webster's Pages 6 x 6 pad and my favorite sentiment stamp from Where You Should Be.

This next card is made with Basic Grey Nook & Pantry along with Sweet Thoughts of Spring, another of the new Winter release sets.

Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to visit the {ippity} blog to check out the rest of the hop participants!!!

Happy Monday!
