I am loving these Sassafrass Lass papers...they are so much fun! I did this layout yesterday of my son, it's simple but I like the way it turned out : ) Can you see the birdies googly eye?! I love it, the littlest things put a smile on my face..!!!! TFL!

Scrapbook Cafe Saturday Night Challenge

WOW! I haven't blogged in awhile. I have been so busy celebrating my son's 2nd birthday and my husband's 30th birthday, I haven't been online too much lately.

I missed last week's Sat. Night Challenge, which was to make an organizer and all of the participants did such a great job! This week's Saturday Night Challenge was to do a layout, card or altered project using red, white & blue. Here's my layout that I did using Scenic Route's new Liberty Line. I love this paper, very patriotic! Thanks for looking : )

SB Cafe Saturday Night Challenge

The challenge this week was to think outside of the box and use something on a card that is different than it's intended purpose (i hope i explained that right!)

Pat made a dress out of flower and bird house stamps, TOO cute! and so creative! I had a really hard time with this for some reason, I just couldn't seem to come up with anything. I guess the heat has slowed my creative juices from flowing!

So here is what I wound up with. I used a Stampin Up Heart Stamp and stamped it twice sideways point to point, and turned it into a butterfly. Not great, but it's the best I could do this time! I also had a hard time getting a good picture, I got home too late and their wasn't much sun left. TFL!

Susie's Blog Challenge

The challenge is to post a pet peeve and then something besides family that makes you smile!
So, let's see, my pet peeve are my clients at work that get very nasty with me when they are calling me for HELP! When I am asking someone for help, I try to be extra nice, but some people are just so nasty and don't appreciate someone who is trying to work with them and for them to get an issue resolved. ugh, the NERVE!!!
Something that makes me smile, is SCRAPBOOKING, of course!!!!

Saturday Night Challenge

At the Scrapbook Cafe was to do a layout using red. This layout is not "predominantly" red, but I thought the red really stood out so I thought I'd submit this for the challenge.
